Survivors Ceilidh
Sunday 3rd August 2008 1:00 PM
Venue: Tented Village
Compere: Pete MacCallum
The last day of the festival starts off just that little bit more relaxed. The music begins around 1pm and at some point before 11pm, when things draw to a close, the audience has a final chance to see many of the bands that have performed throughout the weekend on one of the two stages. In the course of the Survivors Ceilidh, the main stage will feature groups as diverse as Cruachan and The Vatersay Boys, Lori Watson and Cachd-ach-Cruaidh. It's a bit of a music marathon and as evening approaches the temperature will rise as the bands rock the festival to an exhausted finish.
The Festival Club bar will start the day well stocked with a selection of cooled beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and the on-site catering will provide a late breakfast, lunch or tea as the day unfolds.
It's a day for sitting and listening, for getting up and dancing or for simply jumping up and down......and at some point in the day you're likely to have done all of these!
Please note that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
