She won the prestigious Mod Gold Medal in 2005 and has been nominated twice for the Gaelic Singer of the Year at the Scots Trad Awards. She released the ground breaking Gaelic Christmas album ‘Duan Nollaig’ on the Greentrax label in 2007 and has just released ‘A Good Suit of Clothes’, a unique album of Emigrant Songs, also on Greentrax.
