Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, The Bachands come from a family with a strong musical heritage that has deep roots in France and Northern Spain. Individually, they are exceptional instrumentalists, combined, their spirit of spontaneous fun emerges, and the jigs, reels and fiddle tunes heat up.

Qristina and Quinn have performed all around British Columbia and in Cape Breton at such venues as "The Barn" and the Rankin Family owned "Red Shoe Pub", as well as in Toronto. Their 2008 Summer performance schedule includes the Vancouver Island Folk Music Festival, the Island's Folk Festival, the Aberdeen International Youth Festival and the Feakle International Music Festival in Ireland. The Bachand's much anticipated debut CD is scheduled for release in June 2008.
